I moved the potty back into the bathroom and left it there. ^those pictures were taken tonight, it was so much fun!

These were taken the 14th and 15th. He was talking on the phone the whole time he was on the pot....remind you of anyone!?! :D

Potty training diary

I've got the training potty. I've got the silly songs. I've got the time. But where's the Poop?!
Everyday it's like clockwork: after breakfast and before naptime and then again after lunch and then sometime before bedtime. So, today I made up my mind to just go for it and potty train the little pooper, But I've only been at it for 3 1/2 hours and still no poop! It's not like he just sits there, he hates it! He fights me and cries and screams. He really hates it. But I'm not giving up that easily. I sing a potty version of Patty Cake, and that seems to be cool, but still no poop! We tried it in the bathroom, in the livingroom and in the kitchen and still no poop. My poor baby fell asleep on the training potty! And still...... no poop. I think this is the hardest thing I've ever done, I think for Pax too. I'll ask him if he needs to go pooh pooh and he looks over at the potty, He's so smart I think he'll have it down soon. I just need to be patient. He pees in the potty just fine, but he really doesn't want to let the poop be free! When he wakes from his nap he's going strait to the potty!

When he woke up I gave him his milk (in a sippy cup) on the pot and he did it!! I asked him to poop on the potty and he grunted a little and then he pooped without a fus, and I freaked! After dinner we'll try agian. I'm so excited!

After dinner I was worried that Pax would be too distracted with daddy home to poop on the pot, so I was even more ditermined. While I was cleaning him off i asked if he would go on the big boy potty, he said Yea. I set him up and gave him his toy phone and he did it again! I'm so proud of him!!

This morning was no problem. After he ate he got up on the potty and did such a good job!!
My mom was telling my that little boys' can't hold it untill 1.5 to 2 years. So, Paxton is doing great.

Happy First Birthday, Scarlette!

Today Scarlette's party was held at Mayor's Bicentenial Park. Andy's Uncle Walt was dressed as the ring leader for 'Scarlette Circus.' It was such a fun set up. Paxton played with hula-hoop and ran around, up and down the little grassy hills. He went down the slide, by himself, for the first time- he just sat down and push himself off .(: He also ate Indian food for the first time and loved it. We had a really great time.
